In a shocking and rare incident, thieves stole an entire 11kV electricity transmission line near the Northern Bypass of Peshawar. The stolen line was part of the Doraanpur feeder, which supplies power to multiple areas.

 

As a result, more than 40 localities were immediately left without electricity. Even after 12 hours, power has not been restored. The outage has caused serious problems for residents, especially during the ongoing summer heat.
