History Made in Sialkot All Top Government Jobs Given to Women
This is a big moment for women, under the leadership of the province’s first woman Chief Minister.
For the first time in Pakistan’s history, Sialkot has become an example of gender equality. Now, all the top officers in the district are women. A woman is working as Deputy Commissioner (DC), and all four tehsils also have women Assistant Commissioners.
This is a great milestone for women under the leadership of the province’s first female Chief Minister. A Grade-19 officer, Saba Asghar Ali, officially started her duty as DC Sialkot on April 27, 2025. She is the first woman to get this post in the district.
Since her posting, DC Saba has focused on improving education, health, environmental care, and public services. Her work is being praised by her team and the local people.
Saba Asghar Ali is a senior officer in the Pakistan Administrative Service. Before this, she worked in different important jobs at both the provincial and federal levels.
She is known for her careful planning, honesty, and work for the public. She always focuses on being fair and including people in decisions.

پاکستان کی تاریخ میں پہلی بار، سیالکوٹ ضلع میں سب سے بڑے سرکاری عہدے صرف خواتین کو دیے گئے ہیں۔ اب ایک خاتون ڈپٹی کمشنر (ڈی سی) ہیں اور چاروں تحصیلوں میں بھی اسسٹنٹ کمشنرز خواتین ہیں۔
یہ کامیابی صوبے کی پہلی خاتون وزیر اعلیٰ کی قیادت میں خواتین کے لیے ایک اہم سنگِ میل ہے۔ گریڈ 19 کی افسر صبا اصغر علی نے 27 اپریل 2025 کو باقاعدہ طور پر ڈپٹی کمشنر سیالکوٹ کا چارج سنبھالا۔ وہ سیالکوٹ کی پہلی خاتون ڈی سی بنیں۔
اپنی تعیناتی کے بعد سے، ڈی سی صبا نے تعلیم، صحت، ماحول کی حفاظت اور عوامی بھلائی کے لیے بہت کام کیا۔ ان کے کام کو ان کی ٹیم اور علاقے کے لوگوں نے خوب سراہا۔
صبا اصغر علی پاکستان ایڈمنسٹریٹو سروس کی سینئر افسر ہیں۔ اس سے پہلے وہ صوبائی اور وفاقی سطح پر اہم عہدوں پر کام کر چکی ہیں۔
وہ اپنی سمجھداری، اچھی منصوبہ بندی، ایمانداری، اور عوامی فائدے کے کاموں کے لیے جانی جاتی ہیں۔ وہ شفاف کام اور عوام کی رائے کو اہمیت دیتی ہیں۔
